Literacy in Motion is an interactive workshop for early learning professionals. It was developed by Queen’s School of Rehabilitation Therapy (QSRT) OT students in partnership with KL&S.
The Reading and Parenting Program (RAPP) is a resource program designed to encourage family reading and help parents support their children’s emergent literacy skill development.
The UPP program develops parenting strategies and Essential Skills, helping participants to reach their personal goals at home, in the workplace and in their communities.
According to research there are six emergent literacy skill sets children need to get ready to learn to read.
